  30. I've uploaded onto the ARM Linux FTP site a new development Acorn RiscOS
  31. Partition manager for testing.
  32.  
  33. It is not a completely working version, however it should be able to
  34. read the partitioning information for the following schemes:
  35.  
  36. 1) FileCore Linux
  37. 2) ICS IDEFS partitions
  38. 3) PowerTec partitions
  39.  
  40. The partition manager should allow you to add, edit and delete
  41. partitions (however, I am aware of the bug that causes an abort() if
  42. you delete the last partition displayed).  It will not write the
  43. partition information back to disk (or at least I don't think it will -
  44. the code is in theory missing at the moment).

  46. On startup, the partition manager will open an information window -
  47. please read these instructions so that you know what to do when you find
  48. those bugs...

  50. I should have a working version of the new Partition Manager in a couple
  51. of weeks if all goes well.

  63. PS.  It will appear slow - it's logging a lot of information into PipeFS.
  64. Please don't send me all of these log files when it goes wrong, just the
  65. one that indicates that it failed - I know what happens when it works ;)
